FAQ
- I’m having trouble installing the license: The license needs to be installed using an administrator-level user account. Try either logging in to the computer with an administrator account, or running the software “as administrator” while installing the license. If you don’t have sufficient access, please ask your IT department for assistance.
- The license dialog says my license is invalid:
- Make sure you’re installing the license on the correct machine: Each license is only valid on the machine where the matching license request was generated.
- Occasionally, major hardware or system upgrades can invalidate a license. If you think this might be the case, just send us a new license request generated from your SurvOPT license dialog, and we’ll issue a replacement license for you.
- My license has expired: Most of our customers have time-limited license agreements, renewing annually for example. Feel free to send us a new license request generated from your SurvOPT license dialog, and we’ll issue a new license, valid for the duration of your company’s new license agreement.

- QuickPLOT, a simple 3D preplot line generator: Use QuickPLOT to create a set of preplot lines within a polygon, for use in your SurvOPT project, or for export to P1/90 format.
- VesselManager: Use VesselManager to create and manage vessel configurations representing vessels that you regularly use. Vessel configuration files can be used in both SurvOPT and QuickPLOT Pro.
