Faster handling of complex obstructions

SurvOPT now uses a faster polygon simplification method along with other optimisations, in order to significantly improve handling of complex polygonal objects such as coastlines.

By default, all new or imported polygonal objects are simplified to a maximum of 100 vertices. This setting is adjustable on the import dialog, and on the Object Properties dialog for an individual object.

Bug fixes and usability improvements

  • Fixed: Polygonal objects that are not obstructions or exclusion zones are not displayed in the map.
